Portrait Drawing Workshop

Service Description

It's time for a Portrait Drawing Workshop at Heart & Soul Art Studio. Your children will learn artistic techniques and skills of drawing, shading, and more as they learn to create a realistic portrait. Students ages 8 and up may attend this 5-hour workshop. A kit is provided that is theirs to keep including a sketchbook and drawing tools. If they have a kit from a previous drawing class, please send their materials along with them and other materials will be added. Please send students with a bag to carry their supplies. Students will need to bring a photo of a person they would like to draw in black and white. I suggest a crisp and clear photo, printed on 8.5x11 standard paper. I will have choices available at the studio as well. A device such as a tablet or phone is welcome if they would like to find a reference from a photo online. Wifi is available for use. Lunch is provided. We will have pizza, chips and cookies, and soda or water. If your child has food allergies, please send a safe lunch with them. Water bottles are greatly encouraged. Parents, please drop off and pick up at the end of class. Parents of new students may walk them in at the start of class. Students will be dismissed outside when class is over. Doors open 15 minutes prior to the start of class. I will send an email the day before the class begins with drop-off and pick-up instructions to help alleviate traffic.  Cancellation Policy: 7 days notice is required for a refund. No credits or refunds are given if a cancellation is made within the 7 day window, even due to illness. Thank you for understanding.
